Growing in Knowledge, Respect, and Creativity

Welcome to the official public Facebook page for the Montessori School of Huntsville!

We are an independent, nonprofit, parent-governed school that provides a loving learning environment for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary children through the sixth grade.

Children in our classes learn at their own pace from activities they choose from hundreds of possibilities. Learning is an exciting process of discovery that helps children develop concentration, motivation, self-discipline, and independence.

Our campus is a day lit school nestled on 10 acres of certified wildlife habitat located in Southeast Huntsville on Chaney Thompson Road

"The child is both a hope and a promise for mankind." - Dr. Maria Montessori

AAMU STEM Day

Our 7th and 8th grade students recently participated in AAMU STEM Day. This event was hosted at Alabama A&M University’s by the College of Engineering, Technology, and Physical Sciences. Students were able to attend presentations, lectures, and visit interactive program tables. Our adolescents were shouted out twice! Once one of the University’s Deans and once by the Chair of the Event.
